Dumb car

So I was on my way to work, when I went out to start the car and it wouldn't start! Ahhh! I left the trunk open last night so I think the battery is dead! So while Im waiting for the tow truck, for a jump, I pulled out my beach chair and decided to catch some rays.... At least I can make this wait worth something!
Jason has a couple interviews today, I will update you later on how they went.

our crazy life.

Well it's been over a week so i think I can share the news now that things have calmed down a bit. Last Tuesday Vans laid off 10 more employees, and Jason wasn't one of the lucky ones this time! So since last week Jason has been searching for a new job and luckily he does have some options. We didn't think anyone would be hiring, but I think we are both surprised at who still is. so he has some job interviews lined up and he has been up at 8 everyday working away, and doesn't stop til we go to bed at 10 in the evening. I am so glad I have such a determined husband, He is so willing to work his butt off to help provide for our family. I have clients who's husbands got laid off and they just sit around milking their unemployment, and not looking for new work! that is completely opposite than Jason, and I am so thankful! Also our new ward has been so supportive and everyone who we talk to is willing to help in whatever way they can! We feel so blessed to have such a great support system! :)
We started our first Lamaze class on Monday. it was very reassuring to go learn a lot of things I didn't know about. I don't think I have ever been in the room with anyone giving birth so this whole labor thing is so so New to me! (and I thought I knew everything!) One of my biggest fears in life has been giving birth! I know people do it everyday but I just don't want to do it! can i just skip all the laboring and just have my baby, please????
Well I'm thankful for this class we are taking, it's been so informative, and it's good for Jason to see too, cause he keeps acting like birth is not a big deal!(BS! I wish he could experience it!)

Our new president

I have been glued to the TV all day. I woke up at 8:30 this morning to turn on the tube and watch the inauguration of President Barack Obama. Jason and I both are very optimistic about the future of America and we thought he gave a good speech. Although we might not see eye to eye on everything with the new president, we support him. :)

Just thinking back to the beginning of last year, Jason and I lived in Boston and when Jason arrived at work one morning he was lucky enough to shake the hand of our current president. This is a picture he snapped from his phone camera.

28 weeks

I'm at the begining of my seventh month, only 3 more months to go! last week i had to take a blood test to make sure everything was going good. My test came back high, so I had to go in for another 3 hour blood test, by the end of the day I was so exhausted from them drawing my blood so much. But after all the blood draws, everything looks normal.
Everybody thinks it's crazy that i'm barely still showing, I feel huge, but if you look at me from the front, you might not know i'm pregnant, I still have to point out to people that i'm pregnant, cause it's not obvious enough yet! :D lol!
Here's pics from yesterday which marked my 28th week.

Jason and I looked at baby pics of us recently, it's going to be interesting to see who our litle girl looks like, cause Jason and I look so different. I also checked out my birth certificate that said I weighed 8lbs, 12ounces!!!! I will die, if my child weighs that much! Jason weighed and average 7lbs, 5ounces so let's hope she's more like that. Judging by my belly size I think she will be a little baby!

real quick...

I just wanted to post real quick...
This morning must have been play time for baby in mommy's belly! She was moving around like a wild animal! I woke up this morning and just layed in bed staring at my stomach and watching her roll across it and kick so hard my whole belly was moving. I wish everyone could have seen it. next time I will try to get it on video, but it's the craziest thing to be able to see and feel this little person moving around inside of me.
Most people by now are excited and want the next 3 months to go by so quickly, they can hardly wait to meet their babies. but I have been enjoying getting things ready for the baby, and it's kind of nice to wake up to her kicking my stomach and not her screaming for me to hold her, or nurse her. I definately still need the next 3 months to get things in order, so hopefully she doesn't come early. I will let you know when my mind changes and I want her out, but for now, this is the best time ever, I am really enjoying it!

Our Crib

Yesterday Jason set up our babies crib! we were both really excited to get it up. now it's starting to look more like a nursery. I can't wait to get the rest of our furniture and pick out colors to decorate the room with.

Update

Last night I started having pains in my lower abdominal. It scared me, but today I realize it was only the stomach flu. I guess I got what everyone was passing around. :( But after that experience last night, I might have decided that I am going to have drugs when I give birth, cause even for a couple minutes last night, I was dying, so a couple (or more) hours in labor is really going to kill me. I don't think I have as high of pain tolerance as the rest of my family.

Jason and I have still not thought of a name. I think we both decided we will probally end up comprimising on a name we just sort of like. But I wanted to write a list of all my super cute girl names that I love, but Jason won't name our daughter these names, so they are up for grabs....
*Bella
*London
*Paisley
*Cora

and Jason's names that I won't use...
*Bailey
*Morgan
*Whitney
*Tess

Our extrememly long Christmas Holiday!

This Christmas was crazy! We spent 2 weeks in Utah with family and friends. We had a different party every night.
First off, the weekend before we headed out on our road trip, we decided to do our own little holiday get together. So Jason lit the fire, and i made my first pot of my dad's famous Chilli... mmmmm....

At my salon, we had a 80's Karaoke holiday party. It was fun. Jason's great at Karaoke

So Sunday we headed off for two weeks in Utah. It was so fun to see everyone. I'm glad we don't live too far away. I did pretty good sitting in a car for 10 hours. My bump grew so much while we were in Utah, cause we ate so much food. I'm sure I gained 10 pounds! I guess I will really know at my next check up. I've noticed that my belly is starting to bump into things. It's kind of funny! I'm not used to having something so large right in front of me all the time.
I really enjoyed having baby showers while we were there. It was so fun to come home and put away her clothes. I can't wait to start decorating her nursery.
