Today is a day of firsts! Kailah is 1 month old today. It is my very 1st mothers day, and Kailah's 1st Sunday going to church. This week has also been full of firsts, Jason fed Kailah with a bottle for the 1st time, She smiled while awake for the 1st time. I went back to work for the 1st time since having my 1st baby.
The other day I woke up to Kailah fake coughing. She must have figures out how to cough and thought she'd try it out for awhile. She does the silliest things. When shes in a deep sleep she moves her feet around, nothing else, just her feet. After she eats she goes into this light sleep mode where she's not quite awake, but not quite asleep and her eyes move around and she smiles and giggles, it's so cute. I love watching her wake up, she does these big stretches lifts her arms way above her head with closed fists. We just can't get enough of her. Jason has been working from home doing freelance and every time he hears her, he emerges from the office. Kailah was a really active fetus, my belly used to move around like crazy with her in it. And now that she's here I can see all the crazy movements she was doing in my tummy. She is so active, she always lifts her head up and moves it around. I can't get her head to stay still when I try to burp her. She loves to lay on her side, I will put her to sleep on her back and in the morning she is rolled on her side with her arm way above her head. I know she's going to be rolling over in no time. These are all the things that make parenting worth it. I'm so happy when she's around. :).
We had some friends from church come over this weekend, Their baby is 6 months old. We were just comparing their sizes, and their daughter kaylee is so much bigger than Kailah. I want Kailah to always stay this little. I don't even want to think about her growing big, it makes me so sad. Here is a picture of the daddy's and their girly's

I miss my fabulous hair stylist or whatever you call it! I don't mind that it's short but it is so blah and there's not volume anymore. I really miss you!
