3weeks 3days

I feel like i want to write down every little thing that goes on with Kailah, i don't have a great memory so I know if i write it down i will remember everything!
Last week Kai passed her birthweight weighing 8lbs 2 ounces, she is still so little though, we had to make a run to target and buy new newborn diapers cause the 1's are too big for her little legs! I can't believe we spent 40 dollars on diapers that are only going to last us maybe, 2 weeks! Kai's baby acne is starting to clear up wahoo! i can't wait til its gone, its good to hear from moms who have been dealing with the same issues as me, i love getting their advice and learning from it. It's so fun talking to my sister Lisa cause she has triplets and so when I need advice it's like talking to 3 moms at once! her babies are only a couple months older than Kai so it's fun to compare them. Kailah has been sleeping in her nursery for the last 3 nights and she did really good and Jason and i were able to get some better sleep.
I go back to work this week, I don't feel ready at all! i know i will do fine without Kailah, cause she'll be safe with her daddy. but for me, i just dont feel like myself yet, I have been trying to do more and more everyday to help me feel more like a normal person, but right now i feel like maybe i'll never feel like i used to. this weekend we went to Ihop for breakfast, it was nice getting out of the house and realizing "ok i can do this" I just have felt like i cant go anywhere cause in 2 hours i have to feed again, and i still am trying to figure out how im going to do that while we are out. So the last couple days i've just been trying to really get on a schedule and try venturing out with the baby.
Yesterday, Our good friends Kamryn and Aaron came over and we took Kailah on a walk, it was so nice getting some fresh air. Kamryn has really been my one girlfriend who has been through the ups and downs of my pregnancy with me. i'm so glad I have met her and her husband. She is going to be a great little auntie to our baby Kai. Kamryn just got back from NYC where she filmed Split Ends, a reality show where stylists switch salons, kind of like wife swap. Unfortunately I was on maternity leave so i couldnt be at our salon to see the crazy stylist that was here, but she said it was just crazy/fun. The show aires in August, so i will let you know when the exact date is. And you can get to see our salon on TV, kind of cool. :)
I was looking at pictures of my nieces and nephews the other day, and really missing them. This is the first time since we have moved away that i really miss home. I can't wait to see them all again. I really Love them as much as I love Kailah. I hope i'm able to go to Utah and see them towards the end of the summer.
