Great Recipes

I'll have you know, since i haven't been working, I have turned into quite the housewife. :) Since we have been married I have always had a hard time finding quick easy and DELICIOUS meals to make for me and my hubby. Well over the last couple years i have accumulated some meals that fit that description perfectly and would like to share them with all you other women who might be feeling the same way i do. Most of these recipes take only a half hour and are really simple but sooo good. restaurant worthy i will add

While in Boston I learned a little about seafood, And how to make an amazingly delicious
SHRIMP ALFREDO PASTA

Ingredients: -one pound RAW shrimp(yes raw! it is so much better and sooo easy to cook) -2tbsp. green onions chopped -garlic powder -4tbsp butter -1tsp flour -1/2cup white cooking wine. -1cup heavy cream -1/4 cup shaved Parmesan cheese
*peel and de-vien shrimp(or have husband, or other available boy man do this.) melt butter in large frying pan, add green onions and garlic, add shrimp and saute until almost entirely pink (a couple mins.) add flour and all liquids to pan and boil until cream thickens and shrimp is entirely pink. add Parmesan and stir til creamy. serve over your choice of cooked pasta. (we use angel hair.) serves 4!

Right after we had Kailah meals were brought to us from people in our ward. our favorite and still our most favorite meal (besides the shrimp pasta) is
LEMON CHICKEN
Ingredients: -1 1/2lbs chicken breast cut into chunks -1/4 cup flour -salt -2tbsp vegi oil -1tbspwhite wine vinegar -1/2c. chicken broth -8oz prepared lemon curd (found by the jellies and jams in the grocery store.) -1/4cup hot water -1 lemon zested
*coat the chicken lightly in flour and seasoned with salt. heat a large skillet over high heat add vegi oil and fry chicken until golden(3-4 mins) remove from pan, reduce heat to medium and add splash of vinegar. add chicken broth to pan. thin curd by adding hot water and then add curd to the pan. add chicken back to pan and simmer for 1-2 mins or until sauce is to the thickens you like it. :) serve over rice. serves 4

well i'm off to make the lemon chicken. my mouth waters thinking about it! we have it like once a week now. Just don't forget to comment and tell me how much you love me for introducing you to these EASY, YUMMY meals! :) oh and leave me your favorite recipe too if you have one for my to try. :)
