Easter Weekend 2010

Crazy how last Easter we were bringing home our brand new baby girl from the hospital. And this weekend she has officially started Walking all by herself!
She figured out how to get up all by herself on saturday, and she's been cruising ever since. It is SO SO cute! she is so teeny to be walking! but i'm soaking it all up cause i know it doesn't last very long.
Kailah had a lot of reason to start walking around by herself, since we had these little motivaters visiting for the weekend.
Yep! we were so lucky to have my sister Lisa and her family come visit us for the Easter weekend.  It was a lot of fun, and I was so happy to be able to see my neices and nephew again! I miss them and all my neices and nephew so much! The kids probably had the most fun! Now that we are parents, we realize all the work that goes into planning fun activities and going on vacations, etc, etc.. and you just don't realize it when you are a kid, cause you are to busy having fun! I wish it stayed that way even as you become a parent, but knowing your kids are having fun, makes all the planning SO SO worth it!
We luckily had nice weather all weekend, even though it was chilly at night.
Friday we went to the park and pool. 4 babies was a perfect number, we doubled them up in the bucket swings, Kailah's favorite!
Saturday was supposed to be a little cold, but we went to the beach anyways, and it ended up being really nice and fun! Jason said he wanted to stay til the sun set!  but the afternoon wind got us all thinking otherwise.

Jason and Mckenna did a lot of sculpting in the sand. Jason's quite the sand sculptor. He had lot of onlookers!

On the way home the girls were conked out!
Saturday night the girls painted Easter eggs while the 'Easter bunnies' snuck away to put the Easter baskets together.
It was fun having a sister here to put our baskets together with. This is my first year playing easter bunny, so i really enjoyed it.
Since it was confrence weekend we didn't go to church so i will try to post our Easter outfits next sunday.  My mom always did Easter outfits and I really like that tradition and plan on doing that with my family.  Also Jason's family does the Jelly Bean trail so we did that for the kids this year too. I think the bigger girls really enjoyed the jelly beans. Kailah did get into the Jelly beans which is kind of a choking hazard at this age, but she sure enjoyed them, she had colors of red, blue, purple, green all over her dress, hands, face, legs, floor! We heard her from the other room going 'UH-OH' and when i went to check on her, i found the mess! silly baby!

Kailah LOVED having her cousins around! she would just follow them around and do what they were doing. she really liked it when a baby would start following her cause she thinks they are chasing her and she gets so excited!  I wish Kailah was able to be with her cousins all the time!

When we were saying our goodbye's we came inside, shut the door and Kailah just started crying! she knew they were leaving and was so sad! (and tired)

Thanks Mrozla family for making such a huge effort in coming to visit us. we loved having you! even if our house was at it's messiest due to 4 babies getting into everything!
