So for the whole 6 days I had Jason fend for himself. I couldn't focus on making him meals and me and Kailah 6 meals a day so this is what Jason ate for dinner all week;
mangos, left over mac and cheese, cottage cheese, and a piece of bread! and he was still complaining that he was hungry after his dinner. oh and notice the paper plate!
So when my diet was done I was SO happy to fix us a really yummy dinner;This week really helped me realize how dependent Jason is on me for dinners and taking care of the house. and how important my role as a wife is to him. What's funny is I don't think Jason really understood what I meant by fend for himself this week. He kept hoping I would make dinner. He came home from work and picked up the whole house one night just to kill time before seeing if I would make him dinner. Honestly I don't think he would eat healthy at ALL if it wasn't for me. We were talking about this and just laughing cause we both know it's true. I remember what it was like working all day too and not wanting to go home and make dinner or clean and take care of bills etc... I am so happy I am able to do these things for Jason so he can do what he wants and relax when he gets home. And in return he is making sure Kailah and my needs are met.
Jason even jokes to the single guys at work that they need to find them a wife, and how nice it is cause they cook and clean etc... I love that he is so appreciative of me and lets me know that! :)
You're so funny!
