39 weeks.

I'm 39 weeks pregnant, dilated to a 3 and 80% effaced! This baby will be here any day now and we are so excited!  This weekend Jason took some pregnancy pictures for me, I was a little worried we weren't going to be able to get to it this pregnancy but I am so glad that we did.  I have gained only a couple pounds more than what I did when I was pregnant with Kailah, so I'm thinking baby boy will be around the same weight as Kailah was.

Now that I am reaching my due date the most common questions I get asked are; "are you being induced?" and "are you having a c-section?"  I don't know if it's just the area that I live in, but I think it's sad that in these days those questions are so commonly asked.  I think it should just be assumed that everyone is going to go into labor on their own unless other wise stated.  I am so lucky to be able to have really healthy pregnancies and no complications going into labor on my own (so far, that is...)

It's still unofficial but we are pretty sure we have decided on a name, just waiting for this little man to get here so we can see him and make sure everything just feels right and that it fits.

The past two years have been a lot of fun and a huge learning experience. There has always been new adjustments and hard times too.  I have really enjoyed having a daughter and being just the three of us for a while.  And now with open hearts the three of us are ready to welcome and love another member of our family.

I am really excited to take on the challenge of having a son, I hope I can be a great mother and teach him how to be a good man, so he can be a great husband and father one day.
