This week ended with a crazy blizzard which seemed to dump all of its snow right here in Hull. Our teenie tiny town actually made national news.
We were so fortunate to have only lost power for 20 minutes. We had several trees fall over and our back yard had 3-5ft of water in it. Really crazy but nothing major for us. We feel really blessed. We had several neighbors and friends who lost power for days with no heat. One of our neighbors trees actually fell on his car. This is probably our 5th major storm and biggest serious storm for us since living here (10 months now) The storms here in New England are wild. All our neighbors were out and about during the storm just checking everything out. People love storms here.
Church was cancelled today so we spent the day shoveling and playing in the snow. Both kids don't mind the snow. Kruz is still little enough that lots of snow is a bit overwhelming and hard to navigate through but he did pretty good. So far I have been enjoying the winter. Jason and I have so many projects so the weather keeping us inside is only helping us get things done. I really enjoy it when it snows too cause it just looks so pretty outside and id rather that, then dead, ugly, and bitter cold.
I invited friends over this week for a little play date. The kids had finger foods and did some finger painting. It was nice doing something for the kids and something that I used to love to do when we lived in California.
I've been starting to do more photo shoots, which makes me happy. I love doing photography just wish there was a little more money in it. I do still do hair on the side too and recently painted and put together a little space in our laundry room that allows me to have a little set up.
