Miss California

MY miss USA:

I just have to get on and say how proud I am of Miss California. I LOVE watching beauty pagaents, so on sunday i was so excited to see that Miss USA was on. Well if you didn't watch it, I recommend you, youtube it. Miss California was asked the question, by Perez Hilton (of coarse), if she thinks all states should allow gay marriage since 4 states already allow it. Miss California, being very christian, answered: "I think it's great Americans are able to choose one or the other," she said. "We live in a land that you can choose same-sex marriage or opposite marriage. And you know what in my country, in my family I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offense to anybody there, but that's how I was raised and that's how I think it should be, between a man and a woman." WAY TO REPRESENT! I am so proud of her to sticking to her guns! I have been in pageants before, and the question part is the worst. I honestly can say I don't know how I would have answered that, cause I wouldn't have wanted to offend anyone, and I wouldn't have wanted to be booed or lose the crown over my answer. She did however lose the crown, and came in at first runners up, but she doesn't regret it, and says she wouldn't have answered the question any other way.
