Utah Visit February 2012

We visited Utah the beginning of this month.  It was my first time flying solo with two kids and it went really well.

We tried to take advantage of everyday we were there, planning lots of play dates.

The Triplets turned 3, we went to a bouncy house to enjoy the fun!

My Dad retired from the military.  We were happy to be able to spend time with my family and enjoy this moment with my Dad.

My friend Nikki is having her first baby a little baby girl and we are so excited!!  We got to enjoy a baby shower for her and see all my good friends from High School.  Funny that my friend Larissa and I just had a baby and every one else there was pregnant!! (Except Lindsay.)

We love cousin birthdays!  Paige turned 5 and we were there to celebrate with her!

We flew home on Valentines Day, Jason was in Vegas for work so he left balloons and a little treat to surprise us with!  He ended up flying in late that night to surprise us too!

While I was gone from home I felt as though I was missing out on a lot and needed to be back home. This is interesting to me because when we very first moved out of Utah I always told Jason I would want to fly back several times a year to visit family and friends and I didn't want to miss out on big events.
Well we have now lived outside of Utah for 4 years and I'm now finding it hard to go back to visit.
I have always said "where your husband is, is where home is." Jason wasn't able to come to Utah with us and we really missed being away from him and our ward family and friends.
Thank goodness for Facebook that I'm able to keep in touch with my friends and family even if we live several states away.
So this got me thinking. Jason has been interviewing with Puma in Boston, where I said I never want to move back to, and surprisingly I am at peace about the whole situation of moving back...I guess we'll see what happens
