the importance of friends

We had visits from some of our best friends this week! First Jason's friend from High school Cristian and his girlfriend Lindsey came to visit, it was fun catching up. Everytime Jason and Cristian get together they can't stop laughing, they have such a great time together. I just love Cristian he is such a good guy and is genuine! His girlfriend is really nice and they are a perfect couple.









Over the weekend, two of my best girlfriends came to stay. We went to the beach almost every day they were here. It was Kailah's first Official time to the beach. of coarse we had her in sunglasses and a hat under an umbrella and in her carseat wrapped in a blanket, but nevertheless it was her first time to the beach. She did really good sticking it out all 3 days but on the third day the sun must have reflected off something cause she was looking a little red on her face. poor baby, now why can't you use sunblock on a baby until they are 6 months?? I need to consult her doctor cause we plan on doing a lot more outside and I would hate for her to get burned even if she's not in direct sunlight!

Having girlfriends is so important I hope Kailah will have lasting friendships of her own like I do. I am so glad my friends make an effort to get together, no matter how close you are with your husband he can never replace your girlfriends!
